PM Rowley your failure necessitates your resignation

Based on your own remarks, it is evident that you consider yourself a failure. Therefore, it is appropriate for you to step down from your position.

Undoubtedly, Trinidad & Tobago is engulfed in flames.

Trinidad and Tobago is currently experiencing a pervasive sense of gloom, with Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley and the PNM Government at the center of it.
The Government's handling of this spike serves as a crucial indicator of leadership, and regrettably, it does not meet expectations.
Poverty, likewise, is a widespread problem that requires urgent consideration.

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, if not a state of emergency, then what other measure do you propose?
Individuals who express opposition towards the implementation of a state of emergency, and provide reasons for its potential failure, are obligated to elucidate
the specific reasons for their stance and present a feasible alternative.

All of your actions, as well as those of your talkative Minister of National Security, Fitzgerald Hinds, have been unsuccessful. Enough of your ministers and yourself engaging in political rhetoric on platforms.
Astonish the entire country; take action and achieve success in your endeavors.

At times, there are criticisms from individuals and institutions, including us in the media, that mock Commissioner of Police Erla Harewood-Christopher for requesting help from extra-terrestrial assistance.
However, the whereabouts of such tangible anti-crime measures and their techniques for execution remain unclear. Why haven't they been employed and achieved success?

Within the realm of action, there exists an excessive amount of political maneuvering and superficial displays of importance between the Government and the Opposition. These approaches to addressing crime are merely attempts to gain votes, lacking genuine concern for the well-being and safety of citizens, if they are even taken into account at all.
The ardent proponents of these two dominant entities must rouse themselves from their politically inactive state caused by their respective parties, and insist that their leaders take something to halt this widespread problem or step aside.
Individuals who are not part of the political party system should actively engage in citizens' action organizations to participate in efforts to prevent and penalize wrongdoing, whenever feasible.

The Opposition UNC (United National Congress) deserves great praise for its newly initiated series of discussions on crime.
Kamla Persad-Bissessar does not resemble Emperor Nero, who played the fiddle as Rome was engulfed in flames.

The Minister of National Security abruptly awakened and was scheduled to deliver a speech, alongside Prime Minister Keith Rowley, at a political gathering last night to discuss the issue of crime.
Regrettably, on Thursday, the Prime Minister resorted to the customary scapegoats that have been consistently present in his speech over the past eight years, rather than presenting innovative alternatives.

"In terms of resources, there is very little more we can do," Dr. Rowley added, conveying a sense of defeat to some observers. The observer noted that criminals appear to have an advantage over the nation..
“After Government spent $440 billion from 2015 to now pursuing their ideas to deal with crime, this country has the worse level of crime ever in our history. Rowley, Imbert and Young have every possible criticism about what won’t work but nothing about what will work. They’ve completely failed to deal with criminals and crime and only spend their time criticizing people who are under siege but who are making recommendations.”

During your tenure, you have been associated with more than 4500 instances of homicide, while maintaining silence for a period of 9 years.
In a manifesto written 9 years ago, you asserted that you possessed the remedies for crime and homicides...You provided false information. and lied...

Your failure necessitates its time for your departure...twisted

The critics are now quiet...

Rowley admits he has failed...

So let's go support our savior and Queen Kamla right? The usual dUNCe cheerleaders celebrate crime while trying to fool the populace with crime talks, the major output being:
"Call an SOE"
Really?!!

SO then Rowley, in addition to the other things that are being done without the UNC type fanfare declares that they'll be strengthening the defence force
crime fighting capability to the tune of $100M. What do the paid racist UNC trolls like stdjones and others declare?

".. just an ingenious solution to a problem that should never have existed in the first place....Way to go King Cacahole, way to go! Use ANY excuse to rape the treasury. "

this is the sort of tripe and intellectual dishonesty that passes for analysis and comment from the stdjones tribe that onlywants to see people with a particular hair type to be near the corridors of power.

I said the UNC deserves praise they at least held a meeting and announced something..

PNM did a week later and as usual announced nothing....devoid of any Ideas Rowley and Hinds.( see above) Rowley blames everyone except himself.
What has Rowley accomplished in 9 years of leadership...nothing.
"In terms of resources, there is very little more we can do," Dr. Rowley added, conveying a sense of defeat to some observers. Rowley noted that criminals appear to have an advantage over the nation..

Pt Lisas Plants are running at less than 60% capacity, over 50 % shut down.
T&T needs 4.2 billion cub ft per day ...it now supplies 2.2 billion cubic ft per day. 2 billion less per day.

Rowley BS about dragon ..it can only supply 250 million cub ft per day in 5 years ....not enough for out dated train one mothballed after spending over 500 million ...

Over the last 9 years almost 100 billion was given to national security , today T&T 6th in murders and 14th in Crime per capita.
What will 100 million do , why didn't these two clowns announce particulars ... Its BS...they have none.
Rowley incompetence has now turned T&T into a failed state.

If you had any inkling of T&T treasury you would look at Eric Williams....
Under his government such started...

Remember O'Halloran, Prevat et al...they were thieves.
What at Caroni Racing Complex?
PetroTrin ...Malcolm 10 billion dollars plant.
Fat Marlene

In the last 9 years how has the opposition raped the treasury? It shows the lack of intelligence in what you post.
The PNM have been in power over 5 decades , look at T&T and see what they have to show for such length in Leadership?
La Brea, Beetham gardens, Sea lots , Laventille...Poverty the mother of crime.

When you have no facts attack the poster...refute my facts that I posted not BS...
Look at your post and see racist sentiments ....razzrazz
It takes one to know one.

Crime, shame and games

The public response to crime waves has been consistent, regardless of which political party has been the Government. It is emotive, characterised by fear, anger, outrage, impatience and helplessness translated into calls for immediate action and results or a saviour to rescue the country from the scourge of crime. No saviour has emerged, though a few have attempted to play the role of prophets.

The Prime Minister rightly chose to avoid a state of emergency as an emergency measure. However, the announcement of $100 million to fund the Defence Force to act in communities affected by crime is a knee-jerk response to public pressure. Army personnel are not police and do not have the legal authority to make the interventions announced by the Prime Minister—interventions for which they have neither the capacity nor training. The announcement is an absurdity born of political desperation.

The latest wave of murders coincides with desperate pleas from the Contractors Association, Amcham and other voices in the business community to address a protection racket which is widespread and gang-related. Recruiting more police or army personnel, or buying new equipment will not give even a temporary respite. Nor will a new commissioner, prime minister or government save us. The instruments to deal with crime rests on community action and in the institutions tasked with the responsibilities for prevention, detection and conviction. It is urgent and critical that these institutions be fixed and made fit for purpose.

I am posting information that's freely available in T&T , any one with a high school education can understand such, since independence T&T has slowly reach this point where we are 6th in Murders and 14th in Crime per capita. We have a clueless leadership in government , notice the poster support above.
Race based politics started by Eric Williams...today their supporters live in La Brea , Sea Lots , Beetham gardens and Laventille in poverty and misery.
Very little opportunities for such supporters in the noted areas. The last 9 years increasing murders and crime.

Poverty the mother of crime.

One of the biggest problem in Trinidad is the unwillingness to put national interests above politics. There is this notion that if my party is in power, that crimes will be solved. Crimes have been an upward trajectory since independence, which means that no government was able to find a solution. Thus, based on this fact, it is most likely that if something is not done, beyond this politicizing and racializing of this problem, a change in government would not create any solution. And, providing little bits and pieces of information to mislead does not help.

Why is Point Lisas operating at 60%? Why all the shortfalls that you refer to? Does Trinidad possess the quantity of gas and oil as before to maintain full capacity? Would new oil and gas reserves just appear with a new government? And, what is the reason for the Dragon gas initiative? Isn't it to fill the gap for the depleted state of Trinidad reserves?

Another thing to ponder over. when the UNC ruled between 2010 to 2015, the price of oil on the international market was as much as $120.00US a barrel. There was an awash of money to spend, and they did spend lavishly. The budgetary planning was based on an assumed oil price of $100.00US per barrel. So all their spendings were based on that. When the PNM came into office in 2015, the oil price suddenly dropped to as low as $30US a barrel. It did not recover fast, neither had it ever reached the consistent highs as during the time of the UNC. So, the PNM had to manage that economy with considerably less revenue. That, coupled with the depleting oilfields was a hindrance. yet, not a single layoff from the public service, and most of the subsidized programs remained.

While under the stress of managing the shortfall from oil and gas reserves, COVID 19 hit, and the economy was shud down for almost 2 years, and we know what that created for every place in the world. Those are facts.

Trinidad's situation would not solve if everything is based on politics. crime is something that everybody should take seriously, and deal with collectively. If not, Trinidad faces failed state status. We don't want that.

Check the PNM manifesto 9 years ago when in opposition, Rowley noted he had the answers.....lies

9 years ago didn't Rowley government not see short falls coming !!!!
Rowley has been PM for 9 years , it take 8 years to develop such fields ..what has he done to date ?
Dragon will take another 5 years to develop for what a mere pittance 250 million cub ft per day.
T&T needs 2 billion plus per day..

When Basdeo Panday became PM Oil was trading at 9 to 12 dollars per barrel , they were the most productive government ever. Till ANR destroyed it by providing Manning.
How many Billions did Manning spent on World Leaders meeting in T&T over 10 billion.. what did it achieve? You have NAPA , SAPA but no water for the citizens .
The PNM has been in power for over 50 years , look at the state of the economy , Health care, Roads , poverty, crime and murders.
It has increased every years since the PNM took control.

Your heritage fund lost a billion dollars , under the former Governor of the Central bank... down to less that 7 billion US.

How can the T&T police take plane leave Piarco , go to Barbados arrest a T&T citizen . The PM and national security were clueless about such?
Young step daughter caught with cocaine...what happened?
Al rawi kids with AK 47 on regiment grounds ..what happened.?

Read the above Rowley has failed his own words.

I will never support any Government or political party in T&T....they are all corrupt.

Nothing new, except the same rant. But, I believe the answers have already been provided in what I wrote. Just as the PNM manifesto promised solving crime, just go back to the one from UNC in 2010. They, too, promised same, but were unable to stop it from rising. So, I reiterate, time to realize that political and racial postering would not lead to any betterment for the state.

And, notice, I speak of the governing parties in TnT, I have not called out any individuals' names, neither did I call or single out any community for rebuke of any kind. I stated some material facts that you failed to address. You scraped some bare numbers from the Guardian and Express newspapers, providing no in-depth analysis.

If facts you call rant so be it...refute them...
Idiot under the Opposition crime dropped.
Look at the facts under the PNM murders and crime increased each year they were in Government.

My facts don't need in depth analysis ....

Being 6th in murders and 14 in Crime Rowley noted that criminals appear to have an advantage over the nation..
Rowley said he has failed.

How has Laventille, Beetham gardens , Sea lots and La Brea improved under the PNM since Independence?
They still don't have water , electricity and roads . No employment opportunities.
Then look at how long the opposition were in Government . PNM 50 plus years of failures.

Lists the improvements over the last 9 years .....NONE.

Check out Singapore , almost the same amount of time 60 plus years . They have no minerals but run a profitable oil refinery.
Look at the efficiency of their civil service , the Government serves the people not a party.

Idiots run governments in T&T...a PM saying he is an expert in crushed gravel?..amazing..
