Kevin Sinclair was among the first to head to the West Indian nets two days out from the Test at the Gabba. And he was soon in there with bowling coach Shaun Tait, before being taken aside by Kraigg Brathwaite and assistant coach Jimmy Adams for a chat. He then bowled impressively to the likes of Alick Athanaze and the West Indies captain himself. And a day later, he was revealed to be the latest debutant for the visitors on this tour, replacing fellow spinner Gudakesh Motie. Sinclair will also add some batting to the lower-order with his big-hitting. The rest of the team stays the same with the inexperienced lot at least one more Test older.

This side achieved.... something first in 15 years....bowled out Australia after 2009.... batting is very inexperienced....but if Braffit & little Chander can bat first 20-25 overs out....we can beat this Aussie side....u can call me....what u want but I am very optimistic about this side....

We really got to look at the positive side of things indeed. The too order really need to hold their own to make the match competitive.

This side achieved.... something first in 15 years....bowled out Australia after 2009

Yet they decided to tweak the bowling and leave the deadweight batters intact ..... strange indeed

The management team on tour has pulled a fast one on my Muddie breddren

Dey drap Motie

Only to turn around and select Sinclair

I think that’s what they call SNOOKER big grin

PalsofMine 2024-01-24 22:56:34

it is still a match between a featherweight and a heavyweight but if the guys can show that at least they belong in international cricket, that would be enough. Am not surprised that they have not changed the batting as realistically on McCaskie for Tage was on the cards. Am a little disappointed that Jordan did not come in for Roach. We Rallyiing!!!
