The Adrian Barath Story re Gabba
The most aggressive batsman I ever witnessed. Too bad WI didn't persist enough to retain him.
Fantastic interview/article. He is so lucky to have found his place in life at so young. All power to you our own AB and may your life story be known and influence many many others to know themselves as well
Nice read. Like his encounters with the south Asian greats. Good luck ABB.

Thanks for sharing this.
Lara invested so much in him and it remains curious if he knew that his calling was different than cricket, why did he take the resources given to him by Lara and others.
Waste of talent? Would he have benefitted from life coach to teach him that you can have a profession and still serve the almighty? You don't need to give up your occupation to gain the pleasure of the creator.
RELIGION of this kind is mad science!

How many players have you lost? Or thrown away, like true children of slaves and indentured? How many have you crabbed after drinking puncheon like the Canadian Guyanese and Surinamese….Were you invested in him or were you insular like Fanny Tick (according to my late friend)….

should the teachers who invested in you and the tax payers who paid for your services count you as wasted, like we do? lol

True, I wish him all the best - keep in mind, a lot of people have zeal but not according knowledge!
You know my theory on that one - us or them!
I choose us!
He is the dead one family friend…I will inquire… likely he is fine…at least he doesn’t face the mental pain of Haynes, Michael and Andy- dropped in your prime…. What a blight of a region…
