17:23 Local Time, 07:23 GMT, 12:53 IST: History has been made at the Gabba! The West Indies win their first Test on Australian soil after nearly 30 years! Unbelievable scenes here in Brisbane and at the centre of it all is Shamar Joseph, what a player he's proven to be in his short career of just two Test matches. He was gone for all money last evening after being struck on the toe, nobody expected him to came out and bowl today let alone bowl his side to a win. A lion-hearted performance from the young man and it'll undoubtedly be remembered for a long long time to come. He ends up with remarkable figures of 7/68 and it's a day the West Indies and their fans will remember for ages to come.

Listen me ... I've been waiting soooo long for this!!

The joy has gone out of beating England for me .. We do that regular, very regular so they are no longer so smug.

But these thieving, arrogant, nasty Ozzies!!

Oh ..such joy .. I've been up every night of this test, I haven't done that in a long long long time .. Partly because I was tired of watching us play bad cricket and lose and also because.... We don't play much cricket overseas anymore

5.25pm One of the greatest Test victories of all-time! An undermanned, underrated young West Indies team have knocked over the World Test Champions at the Gabba. Shamar Joseph, possibly with a broken toe, bowls 11.5 overs straight and takes 7 for 68. Castling four of them. Steve Smith is left 91 not out. Shamar Joseph gets a standing ovation from the small crowd. The Australians all congratulate him. Remember the name ... Shamar Joseph!

Brian Lara is nearly in tears in the commentary box!

Kraigg Brathwaite | West Indies captain:
I love it (day-night Test), we won a Test match in Australia so it’s amazing. Means a lot for us, been a number of years since we won a Test match here. But for me, this is the beginning. We should keep doing this. I wanted to show the world what we’re made of. The doctor told me that Shamar could do it and I had to back him. He’s a superstar. I know he’ll do great things for the West Indies in the future. Just his belief is incredible, he told me that he won’t stop bowling till we win it. Very proud of the guys, they showed a lot of fire and heart, especially after the first Test. Very nice to see how they put in a fight, especially the batters. We can only learn from this win. I believe the more the better, that’s how we learn. I would love more Test cricket for sure

This side achieved.... something first in 15 years....bowled out Australia after 2009.... batting is very inexperienced....but if Braffit & little Chander can bat first 20-25 overs out....we can beat this Aussie side....u can call me....what u want but I am very optimistic about this side....
