Mom returns to house of quadruple murder
Four months later...

WHILE the world may perceive the board house at the end of La Retreat Extension as a house of horror, to Anesa Peterkin, it will always be home.

A little over four months ago, on the morning of Thursday, September 21, the bloodied bodies of her four children—Tiffany, 19, Shain, 17, Arianna, 14, and Faith, ten—were carted out by undertakers after they were all shot to death as they slept in the midnight silence of Heights of Guanapo.

The community has been classified as marginalised, with many residents, including the siblings’ father Shaun, supplying much of the workforce for the neighbouring landfill.

PM Rolwey Shut your mouth- Johnny Abraham

RETIRED senior superintendent of police Johnny Abraham will be one of the panellists at the United National Congress’ (UNC) Anti-crime Town Hall meeting today in San Fernando.
Two weeks ago, at another UNC ‘crime talks’ meeting, Abraham heavily criticised the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service and described it as “leaderless”.
Abraham was the subject of criticism from Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley, on January 18, when he (Rowley) defended Commissioner of Police Erla Christopher against criticism from the retired senior superintendent.

The prime minister responded that Abraham “should shut his mouth”.It stated that the objective of the town hall meeting is to provide a platform where people can unite, share their concerns, and collaboratively devise viable and inclusive solutions to combat the prevailing violent crime crisis. The meeting is to be held in the auditorium of Naparima College on Lute Drive in San Fernando, starting at 6 p.m.

Abraham will be on the panel alongside clinical psychologist Valini Pundit, Hunters Search and Rescue Team leader Shamshudeen Ayube and agripreneur Donny Rogers.
