I hope Shamar's agent and others close to him, protect him from these sharks and others who want to get him in the lickit cricket leagues.

Ambi's recommendation is for him to stick with red ball cricket for a little bit longer and stay away from T-20 and ODI for now.

Not a day after he made that recommendation, Darren Sammy jumps up and say he can't wait to get him on the ODI/T20 team.

I'm telling you Bro. That toe injury was probably the best thing to happen to the kid.

If it wasn't for that injury he would probably be playing lickit right now and then on to Pakistan for more lickit and more lickit after that.

And before you know it he has back injuries and that will be end of him as an out and out pacer.

I sincerely hope he and his team manages his workload when he recovers from his toe injury and resumes competitive cricket again.

That is my wish...cricket is fast becoming 'dog eat dog' affair and young guys like Shamar
need good management around them to negotiate and make goo life decisions personally and
professionaly.

From recent and current history it would be a fallacy for Joseph to rely on WI cricket to manage
his affairs and workload ..Red ball cricket despite what is being said after that the recent victory ,does not offer a lot
as there are very few matches being played to make it a primary career.

The exception would be for WI to award him a contract similar to those being given to the Big 3top players of Australia, England and India.
