Wah happen to Persaud? One minute he is in Guyana's squad, the next in CCC...and now he's missing

What about the under 19s like Johnson, Andrew, Edwards, Pascal etc ? I think that it would have been good for some of them to get some exposure and relieve us of the Jason Mohameds, Imran Khans, Jonathan Carters, Nkrumah Bonners of this world

Persaud told the Guyana selectors that he will be playing for CCC.. So they replaced him with Looknauth. Guess CCC decided not to pick him.. So he will be at home.

GCB need to stop with their nonsense too... Ah bunch of power drunk people running that place. Couple weeks ago they had a meeting with Clinton Pestano and told him he needs to issue a public apology to one of the selectors (the guy who told him he will never play for Guyana again once he is a selector) ... Pestano told them he will not make that apology and now it looks like his career is officially over... He should be there ahead of Ali Mohammed and Cadogan (two gentle medium pacers).

I'm guessing the U19 players are still in SA... Hopefully a few of them along with the ODI guys return for the second round.

I certainly hope so.

Thorne played against Emerging Ireland recently and bowled both the best & fastest that I have seen from him. I reckon he is going to be a better red baller than white.

Interesting to see the left armer Simmons in the Academy squad. Was wondering what had happened to him.

He had an excellent debut season in 2022 for Barbados avg sub 20.
Let's see how he does away from the Barbados setup.
