CWI - give this left arm wrist spinner a chance

Totaram Bishun.... he represented Guyana at U15-U19.

Despite being one of the best spinners in local cricket (He plays with DCC) the selectors always ignore him. After years of being ignored, he decided to take a break... Someone talked to him and it looks like he is back.

He is far better than Stephen Sankar... The current wrist spinner in the Guyana team. Hopefully CWI could find a spot on one of the regional teams for him.

Video of him bowling

He stopped playing a while now... Years of getting overlooked took a toll on him but it looks like he is back... Saw a post with one of the Demerara selectors saying they gonna be supporting his pick for the next tournament.

De man got all the variations too... Unlike some of the wrist spinners they pushing.

Buther and de other scouts does only scout players who done mek a name for themselves big grin

Did you see the young Jamaican fast bowler that opened the bowling for CCC? He is one that they need to fast track.... If it wasn't for CCC he woulda probably give up because Jamaica gotta keep the ole boys club going.

I agree with you. These boards made up of good ole boys are tethered to name brand players. They have no foresight to recognize talent at all. Many are falling through the huge cracks in terms of developing players. We keep underperformed players around way to long.

These oldsters you want to get rid of were just like the youngsters you want selected, continuing with the same process, will get no way.
Barbados has not produced a great International batsman in 25 years, yet more than 1000 U19 players have gone through the system.

yea these types...

he lied saying the man was still doing security work....Shamar had resigned in January of that year, CPL was what August or Sept?

Shamar had already played a season of regional cricket, so how was he unknown....

and did they not drop him for the final?

THIS SAME EEDIOT WAS CUSSING AND CALLING OUT WEDDERBURN WHEN HE MADE THE TEAM BEFORE FAILDAL IN WC U-19 1ST MATCH. ATLEAST TALENTLESS WEDDERBURN SCORED A FIFTY IN WC BUT FAILDAL FAILED MISERABLY AND EXPOSED TO SPIN.

DEDING WID LAF.

CWI actually read this MB?

Steve Liburd, one of the assistant coaches at CWI turned up in Guyana to see him bowl...

Totaram Bishun today at Malteenoes Sports Club with Steve Libird, an assistant West Indies coach.

The coach was impressed with Bishun's variations
