In the shorter version of the game a crude measure is this: A cricketer must perform well in two departments of the game.

If Shai Hope is not wicketkeeping she should not play.

Chase does the 3 departments of the game reasonably well...Shai on the other when he is not wicketkeeping gives a factor of 1.5.

Hosein and Joseph not so much, perhaps 1.x max

Performing 2 departments well is the qualification mark for white ball cricket.

i would not count fielding as 1 tho...that is a prerequisite

there is room for specialists if they are good enough

the best teams have players that do 1 D well (+ fielding)
