Wow. Look at those stats. Esp for an opening batsman. It really puts the standard of our batsmen over the same into perspective.

It's opening batsmen who generally prosper the most in T20, well the top 3. Thing is, Warner struggled at the ILT20 just prior to this series because the bowlers bowled much better to him there than WI's lot did. WI's power play bowlers strategy and execution is what has to be questioned.

don't matter who say what, Warner is simply a great all format player, but you are correct in saying WI bowled bad to him, the fast bowlers have no variation, all have same pace, which is tailor made to be hit

his overseas test average is 31 or so

but overall yes i would put him right up there

it's the way he sets up and dominates a game that makes his special

i became a fan after he mellowed...post-sandpapergate
