What's the opinions on this guy, enough about his game to take it to the next level or more of a domestic bully?

He was a member of the 2016 Champion team but seemed to have fallen away after that. Last year he started well against TT but faded for the rest of the season. He has had 2 good outings so far this year. I have him on the watchlist.

Ryan John has improved with his bowling and he is always been a handy batsman. Jerimiah Louis is a better option for me though. Good to see some competition for allrounder spots.

John is someone who should be brought into the academy, he bowled two guys today, with very good deliveries.

He’s one of those pelters but never seems to be called for whatever reason!!!

John falls in the same category as guys like Mindley, Jordan, Louis, Forde, Lewis etc.

Steady medium pacers... Could fight for an allrounder spot if his batting remains consistent, but I don't think he will be effective on the international stage.

Previous years John use to bowl faster, now he is a different type of bowler.

i dont think that we should rush to call players like Louis and John allrounders just because they have made a couple runs at domestic level. They are bowlers who can bat a little. Nothing more. Same has been done with Alzharri based on 2 innnings and probably the closest he came since was the vooping 32 in the second test in Australia.

I agree with that. Starc, Cummins, Wood and the like are pacers who can bat a bit, certainly not rabbits.
