TTPS 'El Salvador' approach caught on Insta live *graphic

Known 'boss' and machine gun man among 4 killed in raid this morning while on Instagram live, screaming for his life....hard to listen to but ...they had the whole of Tunapuna hot....

There's a lot of debate about it but decent people don't seem to mind, something has to give and the feeling is how many people they made bawl like that ...

Personally I felt it for the human but it tells a story..

Those are the type of men that has T&T hot and subject to scrutiny and ridicule, from this vid it seems like it's really easy to make them change and make the country breathe easily..and realistically this could happen in weeks if they have their way...and trust me TTPS intelligence is top notch...just what they get to do with it is limited..

I say give them their way for a limited time for the greater good of the country..

Right you are; the El Salvador approach is what's necessary for your place and mine.

Wish they could really keep up the tempo..need a man like Gary in a high position to support it.

They committed murder, not much evidence in history that murdering a murderer has ever solved much of anything.

It's working in El Salvador, men fraid to die and behaving, their murder rate not too long ago was by far the highest in the world, extortion and kidnapping was a sport , their murder rate is now lower than the US and is on course to be European like this year..from a couple thousand to less than 200, less than 150 in fact...

Here he is arguing with rivals months ago..they even talking about people they killed and how they almost had each other etc ! The police killed the 2 on top not too long after this, among others they killed a coconut vendor and didn't deny it here..and well the one below was killed re lead post..This is the brazenness and impunity. These 3 are all dead now and others have been going online and celebrating and making fun etc....not knowing they are lighting up themselves and are next, the police seems to be reacting to these gunmen videos etc..

Bravs it will seem so for a while. Do you know that 1 in every 45 adult in El Salvador is either in prison or detention?
I dread the abuse of power and extra-judicial killing. I remember when Yard had a state of emergency and cops barely out of
school no older than my brothers would stop cars and call teachers, doctors, hard-working every day Jamaicans 'Bway cum outa di car'
Bway dis gyal dat. That is how societies break down long-term. It results in a paradigm shift of bribes, bandoolu, respect for the dolla
and not the human. Dem start with the gunmen but it may not end there because power corrupts and absolute violent power that is
now corrupting the gunmen could one day corrupt those cops even more. Criminals having your life in dem hands is one thing. So--called
legal authorities with big guns having it is another. Don't forget the Pinochets of this world. Hoping you get the solution being sought.

the vid is frightening, frightening yes in both its stupidity as well as brazenness.

What's the upfull and right solution?

Good policing (intelligence) backed up by a strong judiciary and prison system. Though socio-economic measures could've helped beforehand it will now have to come at the back-end. Alas, crime and corruption is now so entrenched. New emergency legislation should've been drafted where dem fellas be detained while building the case to put dem behind fi life. A corruption free maximum security facility provides employment. Guess after decades on earth I am still somewhat of an idealist eh?

I hear you. Just like I am, in theory, against hanging, we can't have innocent people getting killed by career killers and folks with no remorse. The challenge is, what is the stop-gap?

Operation Radication

We've been asking for this and more for years, along with legal reform making possession of illegal firearms a no bail and 'life' with the possibility parole offence where a perosn would have to prove that he's ready to be a productive citizen by way of how he responds to programs in and out of prison etc, creating a psyche change also. People would be afraid to be near an illegal gun..
