Good fight back win after the collapse last weekend. Good showing by young Louia, his brother and capping Cornwall.
All round Good effort by the team. Let's build on that guys

That’s right Chrissy, PG is being his usual modest self as this was a HUGE victory by 273 runs! Guyana did not cross 200 in neither of their innings. Yes the game did go to the 4th day but that was merely a formality. Coming off an embarrassing loss to WI Academy where we showed zero purpose on the final day this is a huge turn around.

The TNT match should provide a sterner test for us.

A good conundrum awaits management as they now have to find spots for Kieran and young Nathan Edwards. I also like the looks of young Javier Spencer but that would mean three left arm pacers in the team if you include Edwards.

Looks like Cornwall has zero confidence in Hayden as even with a 400 total he opted not to bowl him. I thought that was wrong as that would have been a great time for him to gain some confidence. If he is not going to bowl and he is batting 7/8 then he shouldn’t play. I believe he has the potential to be a good batsman who bowls leggies but that’s me.

My team vs TNT:

Mikyle Louis
Kieran Powell
Keacy Carty
Kofi James
Jahmar Hamilton
Jewel Andrew
Nathan Edwards
Cornwall
Doram
Archibald
Jeremiah Louis

Kofi gets another game but it’s really down to him or Warde or Walsh Jr. you have to give Jewel some time as he is too talented to allow to sit this early in his career. Youth came off the plane from South Africa and hit 106 in a schoolboys match so he needs to play against better opposition. He did exercise better temperament and shot selection in the 2nd innings. Is Justin Greaves not part of the R4D franchise ? He would easily slot in ahead of Kofi.

Will be interesting to see how Mikyle and the team fare against a good TNT bowling lineup with Jayden Seales, Anderson Phillip, Terrance Hinds and Khary Pierre. Batting not bad either.

The same thing happened last year when Walsh was almost never bowled. That is a real shame because that is how a spinner can develop confidence. it would be very interesting to find out the reason why

Walsh was expensive the first innings 6 overs 0/30. Bowled miserly in the 2nd with 7 overs 0/11 but then agin Guyana was trying to bat out for a draw. All the other bowlers even the pacers had at least 10 overs. Hayden may have to reinvent himself as a batsman who bowls a bit.
