Watched on a small black and white TV in my office - students gathered in numbers

With all respect Walsh, Waqar, Wasim, McGrath and Allan Donald, Curtly was just in a different league man.

I agree.
Noticeable in this spell is the brilliant catching by the WI.....given the less than stellar fielding of the present WI, it would be hard to duplicate that feat
I believe Roach would have many more wickets if not for dropped slip catches...

So true...Alzarri Joseph too...but the slip catching in Australia for the recent tour looked better. I hope it is an indicator of what is to follow, such an important and often overlooked facet of the game and one that West Indies MUST have working at a high level. Catches win matches...

Huh?
Why single out Roach? Ont understand that at all.
And did you not watch this last test series against Oz? Barring a howler by Da Silva in the first innings of the first test, WI catching in the series overall was excellent. Particularly by Justin Greaves.
Absolutely, I thought overall our fielding was on a par if not slightly better than the Aussies. Always a good indication of the spirit within a team

As said before fielding is a sure way to excel in the game.

Ambie was a special breed. Slip catching was exceptional during the recent OZ tour.
