Does anyone know the cost of the DRS system?

Can CWI invest in a few?? Too many poor decisions across the board in the regionals.

My research shows between 12 to 15 thousand US per day for 4 cameras system.

In order for West Indies to get that, they would need some serious sponsorship.

You would not see this in a 4 days system in West Indies.
Not even in their Super 50.
It is a extremely expensive venture.

Thinks about it, How many countries use that in their first class cricket?
I do not know, but probably none.

Since we can't afford the DRS, we then need to invest in more training for umpires. Maybe better salaries will interest more people who know and understand the game to become umpires.

DRS will be too expensive. Perhaps an alternative would be a 2 angle camera review one front on and another square to check on LBW reviews and major bat deflections. I see they have front on replays right now just need a camera square leg.

But how would a Square On camera assist with LBW decisions..?

Maybe to check Height...?
