That’s right VOD keep championing for both teams, you have a GM track record to keep intact

If you are going to include all those players then maybe I should include Winston and Kenny Benjamin , Winston Davis, Elquemendo Willett, Ridley jacobs but again those are not great players.

Viv Richards once held the world record for the fastest 100 in Tests until that was broken in 2016 by Brendon Mccullum some 30 years later. Or the same Viv Richards scoring 138 in a World cup final? How about Ambrose's 1/7 vs OZ?

Hey Slipperyfella what gives? You have been conspicuously quiet for the R4D. Seems your focus is on the PSL now lol.

Not much to cheer about in domestic cricket if it does not materialize in enhancement of West Indies cricket team or uncovering of some future potentially dominant international players. Still good to see dotties on the rise.

I knew Jomel was vince for many years, and thought Primus was from the Islands because of his last name, I follow Primus from u15 cricket as he is a CP boy. Chase indicated that his grand mother is a Loosan. Carlton Bowen Tuckett's mum is Bajan.

VOR is conveniently forgetting that Larry Gomes was one of Widen' cricketer's of the year in 1984. In fact, the top three ranked batsmen in 1984 were Gordon Greenidge on top, followed by clive lloyd and LARRY GOMES.

Larry Gomes being Wisden cricketer of the year one yes does not qualify him as a West Indian Great. I ad mire him for what he brought to the table being the level- headed stubborn accumulator in critical situations but his batting averaged is under 40 so right away that disqualifies him as being great.

where did i say larry gomes was great homie? Larry gomes was very, very good at what he did and rescued the West Indies many times in difficult positions. When last has any west indian batsman reached #3 in the test rankings?

TNT a twin island nation with over 2 million people

vor first rule in a debate is truth. T&T population isn't near 2 million far less over 2 mil. Jamaica's pop. is 2.9 million. Why should readers buy your argument if you are caught lying ?

Trinidad and Tobago Population (2024) - Worldometer -1,538,200

I like the looks of Mcallister from the Yard,

vor Jamrock doesn't have a player by that name

. You should be ashamed to know that Antigua has a population of 100k, TNT a population of 2 million including many in the diaspora. Antigua alone has produced Roberts, Richards, Richardson, Ambrose. TNT has produced one great player in Brian Charles Lara and don't say Bishop who had the potential to be great. 4 in 100k compared to 1 in 2 million. Same can be said for the other territories except Guyana and Barbados.

This is the original assertion that you quickly ran and boasted about your prowess in another sporting disciplines and now you bring in Larry Gomes?

Windwards and Leewards remain on top albeit a bit closer now:

66.4

64.2
Both have 3 game winning streaks with 3 wins/ 1 loss. Next up:

Windwards vs Guyana
Leewards vs Jamaica

I think that the next round will be fascinating. TT plays Bim, the old enemy. LI and WI both play teams that finally appear to be just getting into their groove and then there is the bottom of the table clash with CCC having a lot to prove and Academy needing to get back on its feet. In all, this has been one of the most enjoyable FC seasons for me in several years. Good luck to all teams.

CWI must ensure that they play more club cricket and it should be 3day matches even if it has to be across two (1 1/2) weekends per match.
Having the top players migrate to other territories to get in good club cricket will only diminish the whole thing once again
