In all formats. He's now reminding me of Steve Smith. Came in initially as a bowler and transformed himself into a top batsman.

he is a decent 4th innings bowler as well. Tends to get wickets then.

Kevin Sinclair, in my opinion is better than all the other young middle batsmen in WI

He is no Steven Smith but it is obvious he is a better batsman than bowler, man os averaging close to 40 while batting in the lower order.

Hopefully, Kevin Sinclair will continue to develop nicely, along with the likes of Alick Athanaze, Kirk McKenzie, Kevlon Anderson, Kavem Hodge, Kevin Wickham and one or two others such as Jewell Andrew and Jordan Johnson, the West Indies could be forming a nice, solid middle order for years to come.

Why can't they make the comparison?

Did they say he was or will be successful as Steven Smith? And who's to say he can't be?

For years y'all compared Michael with Lara and? Alas Lara had some cricketing sense but...

Steve Smith?

Allyuh good yes

In your Trini parlance, I wonder if allyuh have reasoning skills yes.

It would have been nice if you made a notable mentioned Shamar Joseph to complete the equation

Remember it was probably because of his bowling more an anything WI won the last test

Well I was talking about the middle order batting. Obviously, if we were talking about the bowling unit, Shamar would have been first on my list.

It is amazing the mentality here.

A man posited that Sinclair transition from bowler to batsman
is comparable to Steve Smith transition.

yet idiots here started typing about greatness..

The transition from bowler to batsman is the thesis
FOOLS.

Now respond to the thesis.

Sinclair is a fully committed cricketer, blessed with talent and even more cricket awareness that cannot be taught. Reference Chris Gayle.

Gets set up too easily with the short ball. Loves to play the hook shot but doesn't put it out of the ground or control placement.
He would be great choice once he got a handle on that. Him and McKenzie should be fixtures in the top order going forward.

Both also have to get over the ball and keep the drives down because extra cover picking them off too often.

Yeah just for a piece. Otherwise sit Alzarri if you want an extra batter.
