Bro, it is that type of myopic thinking that have Wondies where there are.
While other teams look to form some type of alliance with their players
and their desire to take care of their families,
Wondies (fans) expect players to sacrifice their families' welfare.
The local competition is lacking good players and mentors
We expect the like of Bonner, Blackwood, et al to be world beaters
while playing a competition with lack luster competitors.
I do not know the solution to Wondies woes, but
Players need great mentors, great leadership, great competition.
Playing 7 first class games per year is not a solution
Alienating your best players is not a solution.
Paying contracted players poorly is not the solution
Playing games on poor pitches is not the solution
Wondies dip started when the WICBC had a good product
and sold out to Cable and Wireless for pennies
and sold out the CPL contract to Hindians for pennies
Bottom-line: although I don't know the solution,
I know the problems (causes)
The premier cause is poor governance and no leadership.
