dropped! Tough chance and would have been a stunner had Burger held on. Short and turning away, Kohli cuts and does not keep it down, the ball flies towards backward point and Burger dives to his right, with an outstretched hand but cannot hang on. Those need to stick

dropped! Boult has put down a sitter. This was a typical Chahal move - loops it outside off and makes Faf reach for the loft, he miscues it horribly and Boult settles under it near deep extra cover, he goes reverse cup and the ball burst through his hands. Chahal is not a happy bowler

NEX BALL

out Caught by Buttler!! Buttler makes no mistake. Chahal breaks the parntership. Faf had decided to go after the bowling no matter what. He drags the flighted delivery from outside off and swipes it towards long-on, Buttler moves to his left and takes a good catch. du Plessis c Buttler b Chahal 44(33)

Avesh Khan to Kohli, FOUR, this is just class! Not much wrong with the delivery - Avesh goes for the yorker outside off, Kohli bends down, opens the bat face and squeezes it to the right of short third.
15.2
Avesh Khan to Kohli, FOUR, 117.8ks slower ball but with width on offer, Kohli throws his bat and slices it wide of short third

Chahal to Kohli, SIX, Kohli has a big smile on his face. So does Chahal. They know that his former skipper won that battle. Flighted outside off, Kohli fetches the slog sweep and hits it flat over cow corner. He rarely plays this shot and hence the smiles

Green to Buttler, SIX, 100 for Buttler. RR win. He is happy, leaps and punches the air. Hugs Hetmyer. 100 in his 100th match bellows Ian Bishop on air. A short of length delivery on the stumps, Buttler pulls and does not get all of it, but it has the legs to clear the deep mid-wicket fence, just about and that will do. He had a chat with Hetmyer at the start of the over, with a smile on his face, mostly this scenario was discussed as well. As soon as the ball cleared the fence, Hetmyer was the man who was jumping up and down. The RR dugout are elated as well

RCB bowling sucks. Year after year they focus on their batting lineup, neglecting the bowling and expects different results. Not going to happen.

J Richardson to Rohit, SIX, back-to-back sixes for Rohit - fraction fuller and just outside off, Rohit shuffles across, gets inside the line and then shovels it over backward square leg, he's off and running now

3.2
J Richardson to Rohit, SIX, crunched, on a good length and just outside off - Rohit is quick to spot the length, a shuffle across and then plays the pick-up shovel, sending it soaring into the stands

Nortje to Shepherd, SIX, this over could be the difference between a win and a loss. A full delivery angling into leg-stump, Shepherd clears his front leg and helicopters that over wide long-on, perhaps the best ball of the over and that too has flown. 32 off the last over and Ishan and Pandya are all smiles. Sachin is clapping as well, meanwhile Shepherd and Tim David walk off with arms around their shoulders

19.5
Nortje to Shepherd, FOUR, now the half-volley on the stumps, Shepherd drills it straight down the ground and again too much pace for long-off or long-on to get across and cut it off. What a cameo this is
19.4
Nortje to Shepherd, SIX, six more. A slower ball off-cutter dug in outside off, flat-batted cut over sweeper cover, pure muscle and power from the Guyana man-mountain
19.3
Nortje to Shepherd, SIX, holy hell. Shepherd is turning it on. He shuffles across and it's full on off and middle, he flicks over deep square leg and it has gone out of the ground, Tim David and the MI team loved it, need another ball as this one has disappeared
19.2
Nortje to Shepherd, SIX, what a blow. Fullish outside off, Shepherd leans back and gives it everything, a flat hit and it did not seem to have the legs to go all the way, but it flies into the crowd at long-on
Vivek Rajdev: This is not the fearless Hardik Pandya we used to know, one who would hit the bowlers for fun. In this match and even the match against SRH he played at a strike rate of around 100. Is this the burden of captaincy hampering his performance?
19.1
Nortje to Shepherd, FOUR, this man is another beast. A slower ball leg-cutter outside off, shortish and Shepherd has pumelled this straight down the ground, no chance for long-off and long-on
