Who gives them the right to lecture us?
Slave traders suddenly are the arbiters of morality….

The Jamaica prime minister would have licked the boots of the slave trader..

Brilliant - stuff it to the BBC..Well done President Ali! He has a point. Why should they impoverish themselves when they are already and continue to be 'net zero' regardless.
This country (ours) is responsible for less than 1% of pollution but our leaders are determined to impoverish us!
"Hypocrisy" is not a counter argument to climate change....
Its a counter argument when one country holds another to account over something they themselves had also done...
But climate change doesn't care about hypocrisy.....Why would it?
Very true, it used to be called global warming…..but then the world stopped warming so its now climate change……the climate has been changing since the earth was created.

BBC, meets the truth, and didn't like it.......What's new????

He has been speaking out a lot on Reparations, Gaza, climate hypocrisy..but crickets on here.

He gets much more recognition in Africa than in the Caribbean

In reply to FanAttick Oh skites bai, Dr Irfaan kicking batties! I'm very impressed...btw, when he was on that British newscast, some months ago with that batty of a newscaster (who was trying to be tuff)...I was very much gratified when Dr Irfaan mentioned that Guyana's Greenheart wood was part of the supporting structure for Buckingham Palace! Bai, I wouldnt have believed it, but, was very enlightened. 3 cheers for Dr Irfaan Ali, the president of the Land of Many Waters!

It's about facting time someone tell these hypocrites the truth and call them out to their faces. They have raped the world for decades and now want to lecture a developing nation on climate change, etc. And prospered at the expense of other nations with no regard for the lands of those people or environment. NTM, the very people that live in countries.
