I have been having a close look at this young man and do think he should go back to the to of the order(opening) with hope of making the WI team as a opener for sure he has a lot of chinks to iron out
but I do understand what the WI selectors sees in him

Wasnt he the opener in the 2016 U 19 team? If he can be both back up opener and keeper he stands a better chance and it also opens up a spot in the squad

During the WC16, he looked like the best technical young player to me.

He took quite a while to get in to the Guyana team, I do think he has the attributes of an opener, now that he is making runs his confidences will grow rapidly
