I look at cricket from a 2024 professional viewpoint.
Cricket in Barbados is still played by amateurs, all the clubs are formed by members, and none of the Elite clubs, have positional coaches, like professional clubs would have.
We have not produced a great batsman since Dessie, Roach was our last best Fast-bowler, and we are yet to produce a world-class spinner.
So carry on doing the same thing over and over.
You will get the same results.

These three Barbarian youngsters playing for the academy should have received coaching in the last year, geared to their development.

Bim has introduced 10 or more new players to the team and still many supporters are not satisfied, they called for Worrell and Shian Brath and the selectors complied, they asked for Jair, Jordan and others .

Warrican is performing, so let him continue to play, they wanted Chase dropped until he made that ton and bowled the team to victory.

Bca is a joke they do not know how to manage talent or players look what they did to kevin stoute for years

Very perplexing when developing players. They tend to hold on to non performing players way too long because of friendships or other internal benefits. Wait too long to introduce new players until forced too. Youngster like Chaim Holder being jerked in and out of the lineup but Reifer continues to be given as soon as he makes himself available. You still have Nathan Sealy on Josh Bishop's heels but no off spinner you are really grooming.

The youngster have talent, unlike what many old heads would want you to think. WI cricket need an infusion of talent not continue to recycle unproductive players over and over. One game you do well and you right back in the chat. A young player though have to produce at the higher level right away.

Exactly!! how can you drop a player who is performing, Warrican is in the top wicket takers for the tournament, if the youngsters can play for any other team in the region then that is also good, which ever way you cut and slice it, only 11 guys can take the field for a team
we may always agree on which 11. maybe BCA can petition for a second franchise

you have 10 new players in the team, how many more do you need. only the exceptional talent should be draft into the national team.

This should have been happening year over year. Right now they are forced to because all the old guard is about to be mid 30s. You now see a very inexperienced team trying to rebuild.
