That is Caribbean culture,we are all just little "tin pots" in the Caribbean Sea but we feel too big, bigger than we will ever be,the "Who gives a darn"statement tells everyone exactly who we are,a very small minded bunch of jealous minds. If allyuh could play another sport then go and boast, but yuh can't so try and be humble.

LI lead is now 295

WWI is almost out of it now
has LI accumulated enough bonus points to overtake Guyana just in case they both win?

That's you opinion bro and I wouldn't deprive you of it.

However, my intention re the 'Who gives a darn clash', is:
simply that the two teams there cannot win the tournament.
The other three games can produce and will produce the title winner.

Any fool could see that.
Then again, I expected that some would not see it.

Lunch scores on the third day of the final round of this season's championship...Jamaica vs T&T still playing due to time difference...

Guyana 223 & 48/0 (R.Perez 26*, T.Chanderpaul 21*) need 133 runs to beat CC&C 200 & 203.

Leewards 300 & 177/3 (K.Carty 57*) lead Windwards 179 by 298 runs.

Barbados 153 & 173/4 (K.Brathwaite 81*, K.Wickham 35) lead WI Academy 243 by 83 runs.

Jamaica 189 (K.McKenzie 57, J.Royal 46, B.Charles 6/82) & 17/0 trail T&T 432 by 226 runs.

If Leewards wins this game, they will be deserving champions.

Let me be the first to say Congrats.

I sense a bit of nervousness in this question. Good one as I believe Leewards would have picked up bowling and batting points does but does anyone have the link to how this is calculated?

Are Fast Bowling Points awarded over the entire match or over the same period for batting and bowling points?

Guyana and Leewards got the same amount of Bowling Points (3)
Leewards got more Batting Points than Guyana (maybe 2 more)
Guyana were leading the Leewards by 2.6 points after round six.

In the first inning Guyana pace bowlers took 5 wickets compared with Leewards who took 1.

Very tight numbers

Glad to see Kirk delivering a fifty. He needs to get back in the nets with one of our players who understands di art of playing spin. Technique needs work.

Found this from 2014 but there was no mention of Fast bowling points. If I remember correctly it was 0.1 points per wicket taken by designated Pace Bowlers. Not sure if it is for the entire match or for the first 110 overs of the first inning

Bonus Points
Bonus Points awarded only for performances in the first 110 overs of each first innings and retained what-ever the result of the match.
a) A maximum of five batting points to be available as under:
200 to 249 runs................................................... 1 point
250 to 299 runs ................................................. 2 points
300 to 349 runs ................................................. 3 points
350 to 399 runs ................................................. 4 points
400 runs or over ................................................ 5 points
b) A maximum of three bowling points to be available as under:
23 | P a g e
3 to 5 wickets taken............................................ 1 point
6 to 8 wickets taken.......................................... 2 points
9 to 10 wickets taken........................................ 3 points
For the avoidance of doubt, “wickets taken” shall relate exclusively to batsmen dismissed under Laws 30 to 39 inclusive and to batsmen retired out.

Based on the points awarded in the Windward vs West Indies A game, Fast Bowling Points are awarded at the rate of 0.2 points per wicket taken over the entire match

not a bit

we won 6 recently so it is no worries and I do feel like the LI have worked hard over the recent years to earn at least 1

actually, the way Guyana started - we changed what 4 captains in the first 2 rounds? I am surprised they are in with a chance at this stage

As it stands, it appears that if both Guyana and Leewards win their matches, Guyana would edge it.unless the Lewards pacers took all 10 second inning wickets, in which case it would end in a tie.

Points at the end of Round 6

Guyana 87.2
Leewards 84.6

Points earned to date

Guyana 5.6 (1 Batting, 3 Bowling, 1.6 Fast Bowling, both innings complete)
Leewards 6.2 (3 Batting, 3 Bowling, 0.2 Fast Bowling, with 1 inning to go)

not sure LI can get all 10 fast bowling wickets but who knows...10 * 0.2 = 2

What Bonus points Barbados got so far? I know they didn't get any from batting, so Guyana overtook them there...they took 6 fast bowling wickets i think so that is 1.2

they too might need all 10 to overtake Guyana, if they both win

5 (3 Bowling and 2 Fast Bowling with 1 inning to go). Dey could win if 2 wickets fall to pacers in the second inning. Ah had forgotten about them
