Avinash for Englandshock, can be like Sonny Ramadin was taken to England with no experience and help WI win their first series over there

Second most catches in test cricket last year, most runs in the series against Australia and you say there are better options. God, we must have some enormous talent out there.

This fucking MB is not for Trinis I am certain no one would highlight Da Silva or Jangoo,as you say "not a peep",we will have to live with that coz it won't bloody change but get worse.

Da Silva is a very poor keeper and batting bas been stagnated, my comments has nothing to do with him been a Trini and indeed I think there are some eye catching options, but hey! if they choose to persist
with persist him, so be it

on what proviso does da silva lose his place? see if WI won that game down under if da silva made a duck or had dropped pat cummins when he made that diving catch. you're not making an iota of sense

Devon smith is the emperor of dead rubbers and incompetence at the wicket and WI would not have won that game had Da Silva not taken control of the first innings.....that mach was not a dead rubber i believe

They have a chance against each other even if no chance to win the championship. I dont understand Bird’s comment so guess he must just be trolling as he did not name a single name who is a better option right now than Silva

any one can nitpick these isolated performance and find reasons for a player, in totality he has been a poor keeper and his position seemed secure because of lac of options, but I am simply saying there are some bright options now

Careful guys, no negative talk about Josh DaSilva, the (near) future West Indies captain.

Let's big him up for his ton even if scored against a hapless (ok, stingless) Scorpions team.

Well there you go folks! Even the ever faithful Yardie Droopsy admits that this is a hapless, stingless Scorpion team.

Nothing to write home about.

Good ton and good season with the bat.

Over 300 runs and a health average of 46.

His tiicket for Hingland was already sealed;
however, he silenced any doubters.

Espcially with Imlach having a great season as well.\

JDS demonstrated and justified his numero uno place.

I do not support any one team in our regional tournament- in fact I see it as all our brothers- what I do support is good cricket and individuals to come good no matter the opposition.

It would be nice though if Windwards can end the season on a high, it will bode well for the so called "weaker teams" and it will be just reward for the young players and for the development of cricket.

Regards Josh, I do feel his performance has NOT hit THE high speed since his debut. He has good competition knocking the door including his team mate Amir. I do not believe his place ought to be guaranteed, I want Josh to be more consistent in batting but perhaps more importantly, I want to see immediate improvement in his glovemanship- he has basic flaws that can be fixed to become a world class gloveman.

Not sure if his size is hampering him. As for his leadership ability, it is coming along nicely, but first business is to improve his OWN game, in the interim, its fair game if another gloveman get ahead of him based on performance.

I am certain that all other islands in the Caribbean always feel better when TT lose at any sporting event, there were 2 posts about TTs win against Jamaica,Chrissy and Palsofmine, now imagine if we had lost or if Jam had pulled off a draw, there would have been countless posts. It didn't take me 11 years to note an anti Trini sentiment in countless posts.Let me say that Jamaicans do not show the same anti Trini sentiment as the rest of the islands and Guyana.VOR came up with "everybody beating Jamaica"so in his opinion it's no big deal,I'll bet he forgot that we had Guyana on the run but rain was a possible reason why we didn't win that match.
