1st test isn't until 10th July so probably early/mid-June announcement.

The thing with Mikyle Louis is that it's great he's making runs but it's been mentioned by a few that outside off/around 4th stump he's got work to do to correct that.

With no apparent fc cricket after this weekend, it would be important to get him to the academy or work with a batting coach, if not then the selectors need to take on board whether taking him to England is going to be good for the experience in different conditions and a chance to learn while at work or bad if he gets found out early.

Carty is not going to england unless its a vacation where you going put him ?
holder is coming back athanze, hodge and mckenzie and dasilva are the middle order and imlach is most likely going to be the back up wk batsman who could play as specialists batsman he has done better than carty in the fc season with two hundreds and we have not talked about greaves who could miss out.

I think Carty's selection to England would be justified. He's been having a quietly good season, and even though it was in the ODI format, he was a bright star in an overall embarrassing series on the Australia tour.

This probably the hardest squad to pick.

Players like Roach is badly out of form.
Let's se what he does in County cricket.

Tage deserves the drop, but who has really put their hands up?
One cannot justify dropping Tage and keeping Mckaskie.
If I was picking a team today, I would drop both.

Carty had demonstrated the aptitude for the red ball game,
Yet he was picked for White ball games.
Well that's my opinion.

People calling for the return of Seales.
I'm skeptical, as I'm watching him in county and he is not impressive (yet)
All county games live on YouTube in case wunna wondering.

I watch a YouTube commentary (Caribbean Cricket Podcast)
where the hosts spoke of the 'Australian Premium'
which refers to the performances on the last tour
stating that certain players should be rewarded for performances there.
I disagree, as e.g McKenzie was good there, but nothing since.

Louis scored big in this series, so do they reward him.
I like Isai Thorne ahead of the untried and tried failed pacers.

I don't envy the selectors.
After the series ends this week,
There should be camps from not till July.

You can't drop an opener for a number 3. Who will be the backup if one of the openers gets Injured?

That's not a rule. Anyone who continues to fail can be dropped for someone in better form ....

No wonder or cricket is below par.
You believe a guy batting at #3, having an average in the low thirties is qualify to open in a test match?
We just don't play enough red ball cricket or have a structure to randomly select player out of position.
