Very sad and depressing story.
So it seems the man was punished because he had the nerve to address the judge in a certain way. How dare he "a come from no whe"; judge get hurt in a him feelings, so this man must get "lashed". Bakraa Massa mentality still very much alive among many black-faced Jamaicans in all strata of the society.
