The Constitution of Jamaica allows Commonwealth citizenship in parliament.
Mark was born in Jamaica - mother Jamaican, father British. It is legal for him to have dual citizenship. Enough of this foolish distraction.
Labawrings see di writing on di wall,
.
By di way John Golding did way more for this island than all of his critics. The entire family was and is also way more roots than these duty racists. Licks coming.

Bare racism from the JLP re Mark Golding
In reply to Chrissy
When Manley Bowen went after the labourites...
In reply to Chrissy
JLP should be smart enough to not go 'there' Golding is way more Jamaican than Seaga who was born in Boston of Lebanese Parents. Isn't highway or street named after Seaga?
Eff yuh lib inna glass 'ouse...
In reply to Fredo
Not one of them had Commonwealth citizenship which is in the Constitution

The Showa Possee employing desperate measures in desperate times, that is the bottom line.

Because the writing is on the wall
In reply to Chrissy
But in any case, shouldn’t public officials at this level be made to renounce a 2nd citizenship?
In reply to Da-Vincy
Fine but first stop making dem swear allegiance to the British monarch. Bare madness and distraction going on.
In reply to Brerzerk
Wait, Seaga's parents weren't Jamaican born? Tell us more. Didn't Seaga give up his US citizenship by the way, or was that a hoax?
In reply to Chrissy
Racism? Based on what you describe, do you mean xenophobia?
In reply to JahJah
No
In reply to Da-Vincy

Chrissy I was able to respond to Wavell Hinds who posted about the Golding matter. Saw it on Facebook
and I had a bitter response. Why the Hell is the PNP so timid and reluctant to nail Holness butt
on this throughout the country.
I am very disappointed with the PNP.They should be all over this educating the Jamaican people with
ADS and ever means necessary to highlight the JLP's ignorance and racism in this matter.
Holness cannot make up stuff when the Country has a Constitution that speaks to this.
If they need to change things, they should put an article of such in the New Constitution that
is being pursued in this Republic venture.
As for Golding, very few Jamaican of whatever ilk has done more for country than this family
of which his Father has an outstanding contribution.
It sickens me what's going on on the Little Rock. But the PNP needs to be forceful and
tough dealing with he idiots on the other side. Did not know that former athlete Cuthbert who
finished her HS education here in Philadelphia is an expert and has exalted position in the
government.
The country is in deep doo doo. Glad I am far away from the stench but the PNP must step up
and become more relevant to save the people. This timid approach won't work.
BTW, see Rum Shop response.

I am still trying to find the racism in this dual citizenship saga. Maybe someone with better schooling than me can explain it so a dropout can grasp the issue. Please and thanks.
In reply to Fantom
Man I want the constitution changed to say no Dual for the country's leader. No matter if Commonwealth or not..
In reply to Fredo
I want it changed so that our leaders don’t swear to the British monarchs and their heirs, hairs or ears.
That is offensive.
In reply to Chrissy
Succinct.
In reply to Fantom I will do a self imposed curfew - after work, straight home! Weekends, after 3pm - home, watching TV westerns! After a year or so, things gwine get back to normalcy! Fools stop.
