Anyone have any idea if these delicious mangoes have been arriving on the US shores this year or not? I swear, I haven't seen not a single Haitian mango in NY or anywhere else since pre-pandemic. It's like the US just ban the importation of these delicious fruits.

Haitian mangoes

Correct. In its place, American owned Mexican sub standard "dollar" mango has flooded the entire US market. All of 2023, you would have found it hard to find a single sweet and juicy one, although that mango looked great on the shelf.
This year you can get South Asian mangoes- from modern day India and Pakistan. One particular brand, considered the king of mangoes is called Alfonzo mango, it is incredibly great, scarce and expensive. Imported by relatively small traders and sold in South Asian grocer stores in states and cities with a large S. Asian population.
Central NJ, suburbs of Houston, LA and NYC for example.
there was a ban on mangoes imports from haiti last year im not sure if it is still in place.but tbr crisis there would have and impact with armed gangs blocking the ports
That variety of mango are called francis

This is a phriggin shame!!! I can't stand dem damn watery and nasty Mexican mangoes. They have the Dominican mangoes in places like NYC but when they're ripe, they rival the Haitian mangoes in taste. Unfortunately they can be sour some of the times and not as consistent in taste as the ones from Haiti.
I actually prefer the Mexican mangoes (big round ones) to the Haitian mangoes. I find that with the exception of about two weeks in the season, the Haitian mangoes are chemically ripened and that gives me nausea.

They may not be chemically ripened but subjected to a 'hot water bath' in order to meet US import requirements. But then that goes for all ah dem from everywhere.Canadians and Brits are luckier they get mangoes that aren't treated to either chemicals or hot water treatment.
I have eaten many different types of mangoes and the best and tastiest is our guyana spice mango.
Do they have spice mango in trinidad and jamaica i am curious to know.

heard a lot about it but never ate it. I was extremely surprised the first time I ate a Keit grown in Texas. Very sweet and flavorful. Julie is still my fav. mango
