Good question! I'm assuming the Olympics would cater to cricket matches of maybe 10 or 20 overs in duration? I would suggest the two countries have the best chance of representing the West Indies:

Guyana:
1. Chandrapaul Hemraj
2. Kevlon Anderson
3. Tevin Imlach (wk)
4. Shimron Hetmyer
5. Sherfane Rutherford
6. Keemo Paul
7. Romario Shepherd
8. Kevin Sinclair
9. Gudakesh Motie
10. Veerasammy Permaul (c)
11. Shamar Joseph
12. Nial Smith
13. Isai Thorne

And although the following team is an ageing one, I believe it can still be competitive:

Trinidad and Tobago:

1. Evin Lewis
2. Sunil Narine
3. Darren Bravo
4. Mark Deyal
5. Nicholas Pooran (wk)
6. Kieron Pollard (c)
7. Dwayne Bravo
8. Yannic Cariah
9. Akeal Hosein
10. Anderson Philip
11. Jayden Seales
12. Shannon Gabriel
13. Khary Pierre

Good teams, though Narine says he’s retired.

Retired from international cricket. Not retired as far as I’m aware from playing for T&T and franchise cricket

Cricket will be there at the 2028 Olympics not the 2024 games. The Guyana team is younger so almost all the players you listed should still be around. Pollard and Dwayne bravo for sure won't be around in 2028

Oh ok…I thought he had bid farewell to regionals in the last white ball competition. I could be wrong. BTW, which are your two teams (with names)

Well in that case, in 2028 T&T will likely be without both Bravos, Narine, Pollard, Cariah, and Gabriel. It might be wiser to construct a Bajan team for 2028.

Barbados:

1. Kyle Mayers
2. Justin Greaves
3. Shai Hope
4. Roston Chase
5. Raymon Reifer
6. Jason Holder
7. Nyeem Young
8. Carlos Brathwaite
9. Joshua Bishop
10. Jomel Warrican
11. Akeem Jordan
12. Jair McAllistar
13. Kadeem Alleyne

Yes, Barbados could be a better bet than Trinidad come 2028. If it was 2024 then Guyana and Trinidad.

Narine, Bravo, Pollard are going nowhere as long as big money is around. Look for them to suit up for the Olympics. Mercs don't go quietly in the night. Gayle the poster boy for Methusulasim threw a hissy fit when journalists dared to suggest he would retire after his 42nd birthday. The smell of cash will keep those 3 notorious trinis in and around the T20 game until the 12th of never.

Long in the tooth mercs from the tiny country have eyes set on Olympics in USA and potential for loads of easy moolah
