Back in 1970 TT got blatantly cheated out of a place in the 1970 WC by Haiti,the Ref plus the Linesmen.TT scored 5 goals and each one was not given.The officials were then found to have had large sums of money in their Bank Account.FIFA did nothing to replace TT and instead banned the Ref and Linesmen for life.

I have been following football in some of these "so called"weak football countries,India,Pakistan,Bangladesh,Philipines Indonesia and Thailand.I don't need to go into details but countries who used to beat them 5 and 6 nil cannot now beat them by such margins,sometimes these countries even win and draw with stronger teams.Pakistan now play English born Pakistanis,India also do the same.England recent Under 19 captain a young man of Pakistani heritage couldn't even get a tean in the EPL,he quickly decided to play for Pakistan.

You surprise me and I am sure many,your post is nothing short of nasty and prejudiced,I know the feelings because we, Trinidad and Tobago was cheated out of the 1970 WC,the facts were covered by almost every British Newspaper.I am sure you are aware of India's history back in the 50s,cricket eventually took over as we know now,being blatantly cheated in a WC Qualifier is not inconsequential whether it is India or Antigua.

No cheating took place. The ref did a great job.

So hold on, it didn’t have VAR……. and India agreed to go ahead with the match.

The linesman was on the far side and there were players on the goal line which is the point of reference for where the ball is/was

Oh heck, even the GOTCHA stretched widescreen angle of the alleged incident doesn’t show the whole of the ball over the whole of the line. Every week you see that pic you’ll ‘assume’ it was out, from the camera’s angle but there is no concrete proof to overturn a ref’s decision. No VAR and the officials were not in the best position.

Oh heck, is not like if it was 1:1 anyhow. This was a 1:2 drubbing!!!
