Bahamas did a Pakistan to Yard

hahaha when you fail to prepare you open yourself to all things.
So, I do not fault Bahamas for withdrawing from the relays as the
third team in a relay that required there to be a minimum of
3 nations in order for there to be a recognized qualifying time.
Even if Yard ran a 2:40 4x4 they would've still sucked salt.

Didn't Pakistan withdraw from a series in which it was WI's
only chance to gain enough points for automatic top tier qualification for a WC?
In that case it would've been Pakistan that WI would dethrone so I never blamed them.lol

Know what's sad? No other country on the face of the earth has more 4x4 men's, women's and mixed
silvers behind the US than JA. Add to that no other country in the world has topped the US for Gold in
4x4's since '48 than Yard, subject to research but I'm 85% confident that mi ritelol Gross Mismanagement!

i heard on you tube that they are going to make a last ditch effort the final day of trials. Not sure if it is true. That would involve changing the schedule for the flat 400s. looks like they are determined to qualify. I think we would need to import a couple teams to run to make the time eligible. Bahamas shady. Maybe Trinidad, St Lucia or whatever small island the JC 800 meter runners come from.

on a separate note, i guess we will see what shape Antonio Watson is in.

It hurts .But is anyone to blame ? Maybe the JAAA was not as attentive to the cause
as they should. Coaches ? How well did they groom their charges and how much did they care ?
The athletes ? Seems some were not prepared for the battle mentally and did not
make themselves available for the Bahamas Relays.
The JAAA which is the responsible authority will get most of the stick.
Things happen. However it is hoped that lessons are learnt and appropriate steps taken to
return to normalcy where the 4 x400 is concerned.

BTW, I am, not too hopeful of matching medal output of last Olympics ,especially on the track.
The field events may provide more this time around.
I expect dominance from the USA .
I will welcome nice surprise(s) smile

Franno says that last ditch effort is 'foolinish' he presented a proper option for which time may have ran out on.
