It was again painful to watch WI lose to England. Our choices continue to lack decisiveness and pragmatism. Of course it would be controversial to drop Shep. after he came back from witnessing his child being born, but does anyone think he is a more penetrative bowler than McCoy? On that flat deck we needed a wicket-taker. Even Shamar would have been more threatening to the Pommies. Shep. is a cleanup hitter but he looked awful with bat and was disastrous with the ball. Obed was hot. Shamar was rearing. We made England comfortable. Obed has proven his rhythm is back, he is sufficiently fit and his skill was already displayed. Let him play Sammy!!
BTW: Can someone suggest to Al Jo visualizing where he plans to pitch his delivery, how he anticipates the batter will play the ball and consequently HOW he will strategically get the batsman out. Wi have a litany of bowlers by the way who bowled fast with little penetration and short careers.
