Sha- Cari just dropped 10.88 in her heat after a stumbling start.

Can you imagine if a prime Flo Jo had run in altitude like Oregon, with the modern nutrition and training available, the robo spikes on her feet and the hyped-up technologically advanced tracks...can you imagine how much she would have lowered her record to?surprised

wouldn't be surprised if many of them, save noah are doping. that knighton is being allowed to compete is totally absurd. very reminiscent of Carl Lewis' 'inadvertent positive' before the 88 games. there, for example, is a great deal of discomfort in US athletics about Richardson and Bednarek's coach, Dennis Mitchell, who not only was caught doping, fired by justin gatlin in 2017 for offering to supply PEDs to undercover reporters etc

Reminds of Bolt's untied shoelace 9.69 WR.
She'll run a low 10.7 in finals and save the10.6 for Olympics

Kinda off topic but I remember the last time I worried about Yard's showing on the world stage medals came from places not considered. McLeod is back and Broadwell and Parchie could still get there. Male sprint hurdles medal possible

Yes, you did. I didn't like her behavior then and said it. But I also said I wanted to see how she reacted under pressure having to come from behind or hold off someone. She's shown quality

A sprinting phenom and straight-A student at Bullis School, Wilson had already become a future star of American track and field. The future arrived all of a sudden Friday night. With “Bullis” emblazoned across the front of his uniform, Wilson ran 400 meters in 44.66 seconds, shattering the under-18 world record and breaking an American record that Darrell Robinson had held for 42 years.

His parents must be ectremely proud. He started running at age eight.
