I repeat tactically we were absolutely clueless

Did we perform below, on par or above expectations?

By our seedling we weren't supposed to top our group and certainly not make it to the semis.

I am disappointed we did not win it all but that is what it means to be a fan - to have unrealistic expectations.

Sammy and Powell are useless; needs a new foreign coach - new methods. Longer term - break up Windies, push it to the respective countries; expand the global pool of cricket nations;

We performed way below.....home condition...home crowd....could beat P& G, Uganda and U.S. .... Somehow, scrapped past N.Z. due to Rutherford..... outplayed by England.....well beaten by South Africa.....



Seeding hardly matters....we falter at the onset by adopting outdated strategy, which was apparent from the very first match...wrong team selection....modern day cricket is half played at backroom....We failed in ICC tournament since 2019 50 overs World Cup .... Abysmal in 2021 T-20, failed qualification in 2022 Australia...failed qualification for ODI Zimbabwe.....now this.....
Administration keep repeating same mistakes and we keep getting same results....and at the same time our players are in huge demand for white ball around the world....
This clearly demonstrates that wrong adminstration and management are responsible for these poor results.

Overreaction. Rovman is a good captain, we just don't have players that can play spin-block, block, block, hole out in the deep. They make guys like Rashid and Shamsi look like prime Shane Warne and Murali. It's the template for beating us in every world cup recently. Bowling is average and lacks real dangerous spearhead. Hopefully Shamar can develop into that.

2019- last moment change of management...Reifer head coach..

2021- Poor selection....West Indies first coach..lost all matches...had to qualify

2022- Same poor policy... failed to qualify

2023- New management..just few months before qualifiers.. failed to qualify...

2024-Poor strategy...won only against N.Z. ...lost comprehensive against England... South Africa...

5 ICC tournaments....under this administration... abysmal....posters calling out players, who are all plying their profession world wide ... with much demand...

I would not say WI failed in this tournament

Our performance was about what was expected

What was hoped for is a completely different thing.

Bottom line, making the Super 8’s was expected

Making the semis would have been to perform above expectations.

We performed as expected.

A West Indies T20 team under the management of CWI Post Gayle/Bravo/Pollard etc...will never amount to anything .

This team will struggle to beat any select Trini T20 A or B Team in any round robin tournament and they could keep Akeil and Pooran to help them.

Failure for whom? To me it looks like a win win for India and the BCCI, the extended arm of the ICC.

2021 T-20 World Cup in UAE.....all of Gayle/Bravo/Pollard etc.were part of West Indies team....lost all matches....for next World Cup T-20 had to play qualiers...

This adminstration Shallow -Skerritt ,since assuming office..... West Indies participated in 3 World Cup....failed miserably.....played 2 qualifier...failed in both....will be missing Champions Trophy...
What more!!!!!
