Everyone does it in the rounds. If you're significantly faster than your opponents you qualify and conserve energy for the finals. Coach's instructions, In Tokyo Shericka was still inexperienced in short sprints , watched the screen while jogging to the line, made a misjudgment and got overtaken. By the way this idea of fast finish is a misconception
Everyone is slowing down but some slow down at a faster rate. Lyle's and Omanyala with more speed endurance slow down at a slower rate so it appears they are catching and passing opponents because they are speeding up. Maas Hubie I look forward to joining you in that year-long celebration
