Thanks for the local update, Chrissy. Our family 20 of us was expecting to arrive in Montego Bay on Wednesday for a destination birthday for my sister. It is so disappointing.

Wow...Sorry to hear that...But Batten down and make the best of it.
Montego Bay is probably the best place to be too being more North as the Southern parts of the Island are likely to be
impacted more severely.
Just be safe.

The ICC and the World Cup hosts dodged a bullet. Beryl came a week late or else
it would have been Total disaster with so much going on with the WC cricket.
I hope they learn from this...no cricket of such magnitude in June in Caribbean.
You have spoken of this too many times too
Now its time to batten down and be safe and I hope the people will take heed
especially those that are in low lying areas, poorly sited housing schemes with poor
drainage etc.
A category 4 spells disaster of a horrible kind with water and wind.

Thanks, Hubert and Chrissy.
Hubert we did not leave. We were supposed to leave tomorrow. I do have friends in Kingston with whom I studied in Russia. But this would’ve been my first trip to Montego Bay. We’ll reschedule, but I hope and pray my JK bredrens and sistrens stay safe. ONE LOVE .

The Caribbean has been very hot since the beginning of April, so it shud come as no surprise that storms will strengthen quickly especially if there are large expanses of warm water ahead of them

Reply to that email immediately as no response from you may indicate you have no intent of showing up and guess who will be the first to be bumped from that flight.

Good decision..All will be able to make up and have a real wonderful time.
If a Cat 4 hits Jamaica directly, nothing will move for days, except water.
