Lawd man is wha wrong with you
Holder one of the most important and successful players we had in years
In reply to conman
Holder can’t win us games on his own. He ain’t a player you expect to run through a lineup or score important runs when required. Utility player. Fancier more eloquent version of Winston benjamin

Kenny Benjamin haha
Well a certain young Trini pacer struggles to touch 130kph consistently... ah guess he's not energetic too

Stress…..he’s young….not over 30
Can't say I'm feeling the energy....in fact I'm feeling more dread than anything else an just hope we are not humiliated... given good weather I'm expecting a 3 day match at best with Anderson taking the plaudits in his final match... will be an achievement for Windies to mek 175 + in either inns ....the bowling attack on paper is not the worse but Roach is a huge loss ....very pessimistic i know but for any of yawl who are much more optimistic i would like to know what's that based on!!!

Agree..Roach is a HUGE Loss...and I don't the WI batting holding up to avoid defeat.
The Lord's ground is itself a huge challenge for newcomers to that venue.

if we bowl first and bowl out england for little, we stand a chance. the last time we played here, holder against all logic and sense put the WI in to bat on an overcast day against anderson and broad

he still a better test cricketer than dancing Harry .
Somehow , Sinclair needs a place on this side.

yep...umpires not too bothered about giving 50/50 decisions against the likes of Windies,Pakistan, Sri Lanka an Bangladesh cause in the general scheme of tings they are deemed to be in the 2nd tier an largely irrelevant ....not so with India & Oz....for eg that fixture Windies played against a county X1 was at a club cricket ground ... rest assured if it was India or Oz there is no way they would have agreed to play there it would have had to be a county ground an at least another fixture before the test but i guess Windies just glad to be here in what is one of the more profitable tours for CWI an hence not inclined to be too objectionable!!
In reply to CCW
under the current financial model, CWI does not get any of the broadcast revenue from this tour
In reply to Jumpstart
correct
but England reciprocate so that helps out a wee bit and the tourists...but yes why should WI not benefit from gate receipts when their capital is used to create the product on show
