I’m confused.

Didn’t posters claim the ball was swinging sideways at Lords in the previous test when we bat?

Now you saying England preparing flat wickets?

You almost sounding like dem posters during de T20 World Cup that claim IPL wickets are all flat tracks cool

swing has nothin to do with the pitch, unless its hard and abrasive like kensington and of course the ball would start to reverse as a result, but even that is later in the game. secondly i said explicitly the debutant was cleaning us up with straight deliveries

4 catches went down and one stumping was missed...Eng should have been all out for less than 275
I expect a well Painted double from the WI skipper

As much as I don’t have any expectations with the bat from the WI skipper, I would not be surprised if he scored more than 2 runs here

Well he has asked his charges to show more grit, so am going to assume it starts with him at the top.

A lot has to do with overhead conditions.

At Lords, England put the West Indies in when it was cloudy, and that contributed to the swing. When England batted, there was sun and blue sky, which was easier for batting. Having said that, there was no excuse for the second innings collapse, in excellent batting conditions.

At Trent Bridge, the first two days are sun and blue sky, and should be good for batting. The West Indies need to make good use of today, because tomorrow it's predicted to become cloudy, which will aid swing bowling.
