Keacy Carty should have been on this team.

Need another batsman. I hope by the next series he is considered.

Too many dots in the team. He won’t be considered just yet

there is definitely a place for more batting

what is he presently doing?

He could and should replace Mckenzie

This squad is missing Hope, Carty, Pooran and Greaves

I don't know how one would fit them in, but....

The ones to drop and easily McCaskie and McKenzie.
On the fringe are J. Louis and Roach.

I believe that Roach done.

Haynes obviously believed that he is white ball material.

Good riddance to Haynes

Yes if Mckensie continue performing the way he is doing now, Carty could take his place, Carty has to be the most mistreated player in these times, in the last first/class season he scored the most fifties and he made a century, he also is one of the more consistent scorers in ODI's for the WI and still he can't make the WI squad for the longer format.

I dont see hope or pooran returning to this test side if not for that fifty mckenzie scored in australia carty might be in england cause mckenzie cant even score a run

TanteMerle 2024-07-20 13:49:33

Haynes was all talk about exploring options.
He said that they approached a English player (I don't remember his name)

A few years ago, Windies approached Pooran.
They approached Hope in January
Carty scored about 500 runs in the red ball championship this year.

Windies just need to bite the bullet and find a way to attract Hope and Pooran.

he has as much capacity as the present middle order to compete for a test spot

he is a centrally contracted player as well so probably a hint they think of him beyond white ball

If King is fit he should be in the team to play South Africa.

And that’s the problem for carry. 5 dots in the team would never go down well with the wicb big grin

Kevlon Anderson or Kevin Wickham ahead of Carty.

Kevlon Anderson imo is the most mature of these young players and should have made the team ahead of Mckenzie. Wickham needs another year of fc , he seems the most talented of our young players. But we know that talent without application takes you on a limited track.
