I love westerns.....since they are very seldom made nowadays, i have to revert to the old ones with stars like Randolf Scott, Joel Mcrae etc....
One of best is Wild Bunch
I still have nostalgic memories of watching old westerns as a child in Bim and playing cowboy games with a cousin with cap guns and holsters etc

Many old westerns( and other old movies like another favorite genre of mine, film noir e.g. Double Indemnity) are available free on YouTube...

Mine were more durable....I had an uncle in US who sent me a few of good quality with belt and holster like real cowboys ...the only bad things I can remember now is that I rooted for the whites against the Indians, such was the power of indoctrination !!!

Back in the day we were indoctrinated with the prowess of this Tarzan guy as
king of the jungle in Africa with supremacy and extraordinary know how, skills that
made the native people so ignorant and stupid as followers...then he also in the movies had
a chimp who was quite smart.... someone mentioned how we used to root against the Native
Americans in the Westerns and took the side of the Whites...
Boy we had to learn fast as adults
BTW Grace Kelly a Philadelphia Gal from a Famous family starred with Gary Cooper in
a classic Western. High Noon. A unique feature of that film is that it ran for exactly 1 hour
to match the clock in real time. Still one of my favourite Westerns.
