fortunately WI didn't have to face netherlands, namibia and the scots. ironically we lost to those said teams in the 50 over wcq last year. But i guess beating the great cricketing countries of PNG, Uganda and USA are good results

I did say the grounds were much bigger than the ones in the subcontinent. I also said the pitches were much slower and it was difficult to get the ball off the square and even more difficult to clear the boundaries. Sammy was fortunate that the three WCs he captained in were on the Indian subcontinent(SL, Bangladesh and India). India came to that World Cup with the same strategy as the WI and got kicked out in the same round
