I cannot help but notice the oohs and ahhhs that Mark Wood is generating from the English fans and commentators. Most of his lines are very short and delivered at high pace. I do not hear any murmurs or open complaints about intimidation or crude violence, which this sort of bowling is not. The irony is that not so long ago is that England’s opposition was accused of that very thing when they bowled a less intimidating line of bowling than Wood(most of the WI bowling was aimed at the rib cage, could injure you, wouldn’t put you in the ICU though)

agreed totally. I was at Trent Bridge and heard the crowd going when Wood was bowling. Great to support your own fast men but dont whine when others are doing unto you
