Yes, the mispronunciation of all three Windward countries is annoying.

The reason we are able to pronounce most countries names properly, is because we hear it long before we are forced to say it.

There Is a place in Guadeloupe called Abymes....can you pronounce that accurately?

Were you ever in a position to pronounce Arkansas before hearing it?

There Is a miami in Oklahoma that is not pronounced the way you think.

I heard one announcer pronounce Evenepoel's name completely inaccurate last night....can you?

Jonas Vingegaard is one of the best grand tour riders....I saw an interview where they were asking his countrymen along the racecourse to pronounce his name. Most of his Countrymen pronounced it inacurately!

You have no idea how people pronounce cultural things until you experience it yourself.

Am not offended that most people have not heard the name of my little island till now.

When I heard Tirico pronounce it Dohminica I asked myself, why would he be inclined to go that rout?
