Passed by the ticket office this morning and they had over 500+ people lined up waiting to purchase tickets.
Some even camped out since last night on the pavement in front of the office.
Here's the pictures

Crazy lines for CPL tickets in Guyana
Clearly those test cricket fanatics were confused and thought hey were in the Providence line!!
No way there could be such demand for T20 licket tickets. According the rumshop aficionados.

My only regret os that I do nt have tickets.
Guyana is my team.
Led by Hope (de defacto cappo).
Country led by my main President (Big up Mr. Ali).
I am considering moving to Guyana one day to live. (seriously)

only places i am considering living in other than TT are Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.....in that order. in fact i am seriously considering Brazil for university. the language could be a challenge but its not insurmountable. And its basically for one reason. trinidad rell small and other than places to eat, malls and the beach, there are not many distractions and im not even interested in those three already. god spare life and savings, i plan to visit all three places next year or two out of the three. would love to live in chile but its rather expensive

you think you will survive the racism?

Nice.

I have been to most of the South American countries on business on numerous occasions, never faced racism...
Faced such in Canada on more than a dozen occasions.

everywhere has racism. trinidad and all has racism, especially in this time of social media. besides, those places don't have the racism where a mob will come around your house/business place and burn it to the ground as some people suffered in the recently concluded UK riots. it could get like that, because intolerance is only getting worse, but I don't anticipate it to get that bad.
Whereas i would say that TT has some of the best race relations in the world, in fact i would really put it on top, especially when you consider the demographic mix....personally i find the place a bit too small for my liking. Crime is an issue, but not as big an issue as many people think. I've never been a victim of crime, neither my father, or most of the people i know. the closest i have had is my moms getting her purse snatched. But as i said, i just find the place terribly boring, need a change of scenery
If you can survive racism in Guyana you are good to live in another other country. and here I am speaking from experience

Something nah right with this picture;
500+ people in a line since even 9 pm the night before?
Why can't you buy tickets on line?
Why can't they sell tickets at multiple locations, example Berbice and Essequibo, Linden GT etc

My guess is the tits went to QPO in thousands last week and they dd not sell tickets to the opposition supporters. A source informed me that the park was jam pack.

Am actually thinking of Colombia. Spent a month in Bogota a couple years ago and it is pretty nice, as are Medelin and Cartagena and I hear that the small cities are also very nice as well. I love the variety of Colombia with everything from mountains to deserts to beaches to rivers.
