Having already won the series, if Sammy is serious about building for the future and the 2026 WC then for the next match he can bring in Hetmyer for Pooran, Fabian Allen for Hosein and McCoy for Chase. Both Pooran and Hosein are seasoned campaigners and have absolutely nothing else to prove. We all already know what they can do and they have been doing it. Hetmyer and Allen need some game time in the team. As for Chase, we already know what his role is. Can give McCoy some game time.

B4 is correct. Give the bench some game time. Remembering always that if any T20 league offers a couple dollars, a good bit of this team will disappear in a blink. Strengthen the bench. As for the ratings, how real are they when SA is not even playing its best team?? How did ratings do for us when we could not even get out of the Super 8s in the WC??

Why don't you all give this talk of 2026 WC a rest, it is just nonsense, every match you simply play your best team whatever that is on the day, when 2026. WC comes play the best team on that day

Sammy will give your boy Hety a lil work.

Sometimes I wonder if Hety’s supporters really like him.

His best position is in the pavilion where he doesn’t have to actually perform. That way, they can speculate all they want about coulda, woulda, shoulda etc.

Having him actually play just opens more avenues for dem to cuss him even more.

Why spoil that good habit!!!!!

We nearly played all matches in qualifiers ODI with same team.....

We nearly played all World Cup T-20 tournament.... with same set of players...

Now with series win " I want to be World Championships winning team" ...... putting the emphasis on "I" ....

Ratings mean absolutely ZERO ...what does it do for us or guarantee....if it was so important don't yuh think SA would have had a stronger squad....there are at least 5 players missing from their best team whilst Windies apart from King are pretty much full strength so it makes sense now that the series has been won to give other players some game time if ur intent on building a successful squad rather than focusing on a meaningless whitewash!!

It's sort sightedness such as this why we always end up in trouble. We will not always have the best team available because of injuries etc. We ran into that issue in the WC when Holder and King got injuries. Suddenly, the WI called up Mayers whom they had discarded and had him and Hope opening against SA when all along they only used King and Charles to open just prior to the WC. We ended up with two new openers in a WC deciding game. Anything can happen so always strengthen your bench. We cannot win tournaments without a good bench and we won't have a good bench if we don't allow those on the bench to get game time. SA rested their tried and proven players against us and then whip our asses in the most important game when their tried and proven players all returned. We already know what Pooran and Hosein etc can do and will do. We already won the series. Try other players. Build a squad and not just an 11.

Hetty can only come in for Rutherford
Pooran is on a different island of class and role

Fabian would have to replace moti and mccoy comes in for Shepard

We should be in Olympics mode.

The same qualifying system for football should be adhered to. How many qualifying can be decided on.

West Indies cannot play in the Olympics. There is no country named West Indies. When the Commonwealth Games in 1988 had cricket, some of the territories which participated did so on their own. I cannot remember how many Caribbean territories took part but Antigua had its own team as did Barbados I think. It was a men's 50 over tournament.
