Why is Harris bringing Walz to her first major interview?
Three weeks ago, just days after being formally chosen as the Democratic presidential nominee, Kamala Harris was pressed on her plans for a sit-down interview.
“I’ve talked to my team,” she told reporters on the airport tarmac in Detroit. “I want us to get an interview scheduled before the end of the month.”
On Thursday night, Ms Harris will - just barely - make good on that promise, sitting down with CNN’s Dana Bash for her first major interview.
But Ms Harris will not be there by herself. The vice-president will be joined by her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, for the prime-time appearance, airing at 21:00 EDT (02:00 BST).

It only seems smart. It shows off her inability to address the issues (thus she is shielded) and her limited acuity.
Joe was in cognitive decline and a plagerist among other things, but she is a far left socialist with little understanding of economic matters. Or is it just socialist economics - i am giving her the benefit of the doubt.
Despite the embellishment of the left, not all Dems are ready for this socialist ideals - they're being hoodwinked . The entire Democrats machinery inclusive of mainstream media, are doing all to hide her radical agenda and ineptitude. Walz himself is a far left socialist.
We expect Dona Bash to be bowling some slow long hops at them.
Thing is, this they expect to be a close election. Decided by independents and those in the middle.
This group is usually more discerning and follow the narrative on both sides, then decide

it has been polled that Kamala gets 84% positive coverage by the media and Trump 89% negative, yet she hasn't been able to pull away from him in the polls.
