Pooran had higher top score, significantly better SR and only was around 14 runs shy of Shai's total.
I guess they went with consistency.

Did Pooran complete the job in any game. Shai SR while batting with Pooran was statistically the same, lastly Shai's aggregate and avg was better than Pooran's.

Let's have a conversation about Cappo. When last has he really performed as a batsman? Statistically he is the worst by far of the top 7 (inclusive of Chase and Hety) and some would say that he doesnt even clap
