Bibi never wanted peace and Hamas have given him the excuse for war.

Bibi never wanted a Two-State solution. America always knew it, but each administration, except Trump’s, has pushed the lie for a Two-State solution, as slop to the Palestinians, while feeding Israel with all the weapons needed to achieve its aims.

Now, Bibi is on his final drive to take over Gaza, NOT EXTERMINATE Hamas. That will never happen. As long as there is a Palestinian living under the boot of Israel, some variant of Hamas will exist.

For Bibi's Israel it all about the land. ALL of it, "from the river to the sea" Israeli style.

Bibi intends to flatten Gaza, make it unliveable for Palestinians, rule it, control it and remake it in Israel's image.

Bibi is wickedly smart. He knows the American political system like the back of his hand and he's going for the jugular and dare any American politician to openly challenge him, less he sets his AIPAC dogs on them, especially in the middle of a presidential election where Jewish votes, not to mention money, can be dangled to the highest bidder.

No better way to gain a politician's attention than the availability of votes en block and money, where those votes and money can be bargained in exchange for Bibi getting his way with Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

BTW, while the world's attention has been focused on Gaza, Bibi and his right-wing goons have been making their play in the West Bank, seizing more land for Settlers and executing daily military incursions "going after terrorists".

The funny thing is - if any of this could be considered funny - because what happened on Oct 7 and the repercussions from it have forced most people into silence, even if they recognize the horror (genocide) of what is happening in Gaza. Who wants to be labeled as antisemitic for criticizing a country or its leaders?

So there, we see the horror and we remain powerless to affect change to stop the war and the killing of a generation of innocent Palestinians. Not until every hostage is returned, so they say. But knowing Bibi the return of the hostage is just a part of his plan, occupying and incorporating Gaza, as part of Greater Israel, are his goal. And in time, the West Bank too.

So who is in control? Bibi is. Who is paying lip service to Palestinians aspirations? The leaders in the West, and in particular America.

Why? Because Bibi's Israeli tail keeps wagging the American dog. Look no further that Iran and Hezbollah. He strikes and that dog wags into action.

A two state solution has been of the table for decades now and had progressively become untenable.

Thr hypocrisy is palpable. Right at the end of the British Mandate 1947/1948 the UN offered the opportunity to both the Palestinians and Jews the opportunity for each to form their own state in the land which had historically been the home of the Jews (history and archeological emphatically verifies). The latter accept but, not only did the Palestinians reject, but May 15th 1948 the surrounding neighbours attacked the day old state of Israel by devine providence they withstood. So much for stealing of Palestinian lands.
