He had a good season prior, he’s bigger now and he’s struggling.

Gurbaz, the Afghan, who opened last night for the Warriors is also a wicket keeper. So they have a choice of he or Hope. Khan was not very good last year with the gloves but he made crucial runs. They should move on from him.

He’s was woeful for Pakistan in the recent T20 WC.

Gurbaz isn’t a great keeper but he’s better than Azam. And I’m sure they could get a young batter - preferably a West Indian - for that spot in the batting line up.

Warriors definitely not short of keepers.
He just can’t field any other positions.
Any younger talent would do.

They better make that decision early.

After Gurbaz dropped Shamar Brooks in that Qualifier in 2022 I think they banned him from keeping lol

I don't know what the affection with him is.
I never rated him as nothing but a fat, lazy, swipper.

I will like to see him removed from my Amazon Warriors team soonest.

If or when Ayub joins the squad Azam will most likely be on the bench.

Don't see him playing ahead of Gurbaz, Ayub, Pretorius and Tahir. The batsmen on the bench are Nandu and Anderson. Maybe they could consider opening with Anderson/Nandu with Gurbaz.

Also, I think this should be Tahir last season. Could return next year as a mentor.

Gurbaz may be off at some point to play test?

Tahir hasn't bowled well in the leagues he played this year...it could be a long tournament

Gurbaz ain't playing that test series... Afghan already names a training squad... Mujeeb, Gurbaz and some of the regular T20 chaps not in it.

So I think he's around for the entire tournament.
