If Trump wins in the short term it will be even more entertaining than his first presidency. Drinking bleach and nuking hurricanes will seem like good ideas to what is coming next.
In the medium term he is going to damage America and it will be up to the people to fix it or continue to descend into division.
Because in the long term history will repeat itself and America will be looking at another civil war paved by the GOP hellbent on states rights. Abortion today, slavery tomorrow.

Not so his sister, whose husband is a strong Federalist and likely part of the MAGA cult. Meghan says she is not supporting either Trump or Harris.
Her mother Cindy McCain, I am sure will support Harris. She endorsed Biden in 2020 and she worked as an ambassador in his administration.

“There’s a lot of anxiety about what Trump does to Republican ability to win in 2028—and what he also may do to the party in terms of policy long term,” one anonymous conservative leader told Politico. “There is just this concern that like, ‘OK, if the party just goes in that direction, then what kind of party is it going forward? And can conservatives, then, have a home going forward?’”
The outlet also claims concerned Republicans hope Trump’s loss is by a wide margin in order to help stifle any attempts to cast doubt on the legitimacy of his hypothetical defeat.
